Terms

Tour price includes:
• A well travelled, informed guide, committed to making your trip interesting, exciting and trouble free;
• 14 nights accommodation in clean comfortable character hotels located in the heart of each city;
• All breakfasts, most lunches and many dinners (refer to specific tour details);
• All transportation for group activities includes air-conditioned comfortable minibus (transportation for independent travel during the tour is not included);
• All group sightseeing tours and admissions;
• Free bottle of champagne per cpl.

(Note: Prices do not include airfare. Airfare can be arranged at special rates.)

DEPOSITS & FINAL PAYMENT:
To make a reservation, we require a deposit of $400 per person. Full payment is due 60 days prior to departure. Please note we NOW accept credit cards for all tour payments(VISA and MasterCard only). If you request a tour less than 60 days prior to departure, full payment is due immediately and your deposit is non-refundable. Please make note of your final payment due date as it is your responsibility to ensure final payment is received by us in a timely manner. Failure to meet the final payment deadline may result in your being removed from the tour.

SINGLE SUPPLEMENTS:
Private single rooms are available on a limited, space-available basis. ($650/person) Supplements are refundable if cancelled at least 60 days prior to tour departure, otherwise supplements will be forfeited.

CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS:
All cancellation requests must be sent in writing. All deposits are fully refundable for two weeks from the day received, after which, the deposit will not be refundable for any reason and will be forfeited if you cancel your tour reservation. In the event cancellation of a booking is requested less than (60) days prior to departure, the cancellation fees will be charged as follows, 60-30 days prior to departure = 50% of total price, 29-15 days prior = 75% total price, 14 days or less prior to departure = 100% of total price. There is no refund for any unused portion of the tours. We recommend the purchase of cancellation insurance. Please inquire about rates.

CHANGES IN RESERVATION:
In case of a change in plans up to 60 days prior to departure you may transfer to another departure date (subject to seating availability) for a $30 handling fee. All transfer requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and are subject to Management approval. We encourage all tour members to purchase separate travel insurance to cover possible additional costs (airline tickets, loss of luggage, trip delay, medical evacuation, etc.).

HEALTH REQUIREMENTS:
Any physical, or mental disability requiring special attention or treatment must be noted at time of reservation. These tours require a certain amount of endurance since they are physically demanding. To best way to enjoy the experience, you must be in good shape. On the most active days there will be a lot of walking (often on cobbled streets), plenty of standing during group sightseeing, and often steep stair-climbing.

BAGGAGE:
Due to space and weight restrictions as well as the responsibility of always carrying your own baggage, you will want to pack light. Therefore, each tour member is allowed just one medium size bag of approximately 22"x 14"x 9", and a small day pack. Tricks and tips on how to pack light are available under TRAVEL TIPS.

SEQUENCE OF ITINERARY:
Sequence of events and places visited are subject to change from the order shown due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. We have to be prepared to be flexible as Europe is full of surprises.

RESPONSIBILITY:
Europe Along the Scenic Routes and /or its representatives act only in the capacity as agents for the passenger in all matters connected with hotel accommodations, sightseeing tours and transportation. The tour operators and / or their agents will not accept any responsibility in the event of damage, loss, accident, illness, delay or other irregularity due to defects in any vehicle used for transportation or the fault or default of any company or person employed in the organization of the transportation. The tour operators and / or their representatives will not accept any responsibility for extra cost due to delay, changes or any other reason. The tour operators and/or their representatives are not responsible for any consular, political or military complications created voluntarily or involuntarily by the passengers or any other person. The operators cannot be held responsible for any fault or default or negligence by hotel owner or his employees. The tour operators reserve the right to decline, to accept or retain any person and to change or cancel the tours, if necessary, for any reason. Please understand in order to keep costs down, and since it may be unobtainable in any event, Europe Along the Scenic Routes has no protection coverage to protect itself, the actions of its employees, or tour participants themselves, and that tour members intentionally assume the many risks inherent in European travel. All tour members are required to complete, sign and return, prior to their tour start date, a Medical Release and Waiver Agreement. Failure to return a complete and accurate Medical Release Waiver could result in expulsion from a tour at your own expense. We strongly recommend all tour members consider the purchase of comprehensive travel and health insurance.
